Why is charity more important in Ramadan?

The Month of Sadaqa (Charity)

Muslims are usually more giving (Charity) in Ramadan, in the footsteps of prophet Mohammed (PPBUH). Ibn Abbas went on to say that he (PPBUH) was more generous than the blowing wind.
Why Ramadan. Very simple: Deeds in this month are multiplied to endless rewards. Thus, you try to do as much of the good deeds before it goes away. It is like a race.
